Water also helps in case of piles. Piles may be caused by excessive heat in the body or by rough passage of stools. Water helps in reducing the heat and body temperature. It also softens the stools facilitating smooth passage, and reducing tearing or scaring of anal tissues.

Consuming water is also beneficial for keeping the facial skin clean and free of pimples and acne. Water helps to dissolve the excessive oil and reduces the oiliness of skin. Washing the face with cold water twice a day also helps to keep the skin free of dust and dirt.
