Uses of Eggs
Eggs are excellent sources of proteins. They help in muscle building, repairing of tissues, and give strength and energy.
Eggs can be used in variety of food preparations. Breakfast comprising eggs can also give a healthy start to the day. Boiled eggs are good food for children as well as adults. It is good source of energy, and does not increase the calorie count or cholesterol level by high numbers.
Boiled eggs are not at all time consuming and do not require any special effort to be made. Working women can save a lot of time and effort by using egg for breakfast.
You can also slice the boiled egg, stuff it between bread slices and sprinkle black pepper powder over it for taste, and use it for sandwich. You can even make omelets by adding chopped onion or tomato to battered egg. The omelet can be consumed directly or can be stuffed between bread slices. Eating omelets with tomato or spinach-garlic spread can make it tasty.
Boiled eggs can be used in food preparations such as flavoured rice or mix vegetable rice. You can also make egg based curry.
Needless to say, eggs can be used to make cakes and pastries for desert preparations. It can also be used as a stuffing for rolls.
Egg is an important component for people interested in bodybuilding. Eating egg whites gives proteins and helps to generate mass of muscles and strengthen the tissues.
It also prevents brittleness of nails, as the sulphur content in eggs strengthen the nails.
Egg is an important source of vitamin D. It is helpful in avoiding problems in eyesight and degeneration of eye tissue and muscles. It can be beneficial in prevention of cataract.
It is also rich in vitamin A and E. Presence of these vitamins makes it a good food for nourishing the skin and hair.
Using an egg mask will be helpful for dry skin. It will moisturize the skin making it soft and supple. Applying eggs on hair will prevent brittleness of hair and make it lustrous too.
