Uses of Cardamom

Cardamom might be a small item in your kitchen but it has got some good healing powers that provide immense relief to your body. Chomping small piece of cardamom not only keeps foul smell emanating from breath but also helps in ending hiccups.

If you want to venture out in sunlight then make sure that you put a piece of cardamom in your mouth and chew it. For getting relief from severe headache, take few pieces of green cardamom and make a thick paste. Add few drops of water to it and gradually apply on the temple.

You will feel immediate relief. Powdered form of cardamom is also beneficial in case of cough and cold condition as well as in problem of asthma. Combine quarter spoon of powdered form of green cardamom with one small spoon of honey. Consume that paste. This powder is also useful in treating condition of dysuria & stone formation. Mix this powder in lukewarm milk and drink it.

In most of the countries, it is used in providing fragrance to a particular dish. As far its medicinal value is concerned it rejuvenates the digestive system as well as pain in stomach. Cardamom is also a good source of nourishment and acts as an excellent purifier because some of its constituents have the ability to clean the body internally. It is particularly useful in various respiratory disorders.

People suffering from anorexia must chew cardamom in smaller quantities daily because it not only gives freedom from the problem of acidity but also develops desire for food. It can also be effectively utilized in the treatment of sores in mouth. Whenever you prepare tea, add few pieces of big cardamom which is black in color. It will certainly provide immense relief from pain in head caused by gastric problem in stomach.

Take few seeds of cardamom and grind it thoroughly and start simmering it in water. It will not only provide good smell to the tea but will also help in alleviating the effects of depression. Tea made from cardamom is extremely effective in curing problem of unsettled stomach, acidity, depression and respiratory disorder
