Use of Carrot

Carrot as you all know contains loads of benefits. From your childhood, you must have been hearing this that eating of carrots will improve your vision.

But do you know that it also helps in reducing the cholesterol level which in turn keeps your heart in good condition as well as thwarts the danger of cancer. Carrot contains a special type of element called beta carotene it turns itself into Vitamin A which is essential in maintaining our eye vision. Beware that lack of vitamin A might cause night blindness in you. Eating carrot also makes your bones stronger and improves the health of your teeth. So, eat carrot regularly.

Beta Carotene which is the most essential constituents of carrot also helps on lowering the risk of life threatening diseases like cancer of different types, heart related ailments in addition to preventing deterioration of vision due to weakness of retina. It is also said that cooking destroys the nutritional benefits of a vegetable but it is not the same case with every vegetable for the reason that in case of carrot, its benefit is increased when cooked.

The fibre related content in it has got the ability to catch this particular element by which the body is not able to receive its share of beta carotene, so by boiling it you will in a way be able to release those contents.

You must remain aware of the fact that before you store the carrots in a refrigerator, eliminate the green leaves situated on its top for the reason that the leaves tends to absorb the requisite nutrients of the carrot. The best form of carrot consumption is to drink its juice. However, in order to derive their benefits don’t forget that if you are eating it in excess it will turn your skin for a brief period into yellow colour.

Moreover, the seeds of carrot are not considered safe for pregnant ladies as it can cause abortion. But eating carrot or drinking its juice is extremely beneficial. Natural sugar does exist in carrots so it is better to eat in a balanced manner.
