Understanding Liver Cirrhosis

Liver Cirrhosis is a problem that is totally man-made. It is caused by the prolonged consumption of alcohol that directly affects the liver organ inside human body and ultimately results in malady of liver.

Moreover, meagre amount of nutrition in a diet can also contribute towards the occurrence of liver cirrhosis. It also produces lethal effects on the entire body system.

When cirrhosis starts developing in the liver, it is not able to replace the worn out cells with the new cells. Men are more prone to this problem as compared to women. As per the latest development associated with liver cirrhosis, obesity is fast becoming one of the causes for its development.

Some of the other causes which act as contributory factors in causing liver cirrhosis are regular occurrence of Hepatitis B, C as well as D which in turn are caused by administration of an infected blood with related symptoms of hepatitis C, B or D. It produces swelling in the liver.

There are many medicines that might not suit a person and cause adverse reactions in the body. Moreover, if a person comes into contact with poisonous chemicals for longer time than also it can cause blocking of liver along with stoppage of heart. Small children are administered the medicine against hepatitis B to contain the spread of virus.

There is also another form of hepatitis known as autoimmune hepatitis. In it, the immunity of the body itself attacks the cells of the liver which leads to swelling and in the final stage cirrhosis of the liver.
