Tips for Smooth Skin
You can get a smooth skin by following certain skin care practices. By proper cleaning techniques or by using certain remedies (either medicated or home based) you can get a skin with a smooth texture.
Skin could become chapped, dry or rough due to many factors. It may be due to pollution, using products that are not suitable to your kind of skin, touching your skin frequently with unclean hands, not washing your skin properly, lack of moisture or deficiency of certain foods that helps the skin to develop a smooth and glowing texture.
Know your skin type. If your skin in dry, apply moisturizer to it. This will prevent dryness and roughness of skin, and make it supple and smooth. If possible, use moisturizers that are non greasy, so that your face does not look oily.
Honey and yogurt are natural agents for moisturizing and smoothening the skin. You could apply paste of honey, curd and turmeric powder to your face every morning. Keep it on for 10-15 minutes, and rinse in cold water. This will moisturize your skin and make it smooth and supple.
To get a similar effect, you can also a make a face pack using mashed banana and cream of milk. Applying chocolate (by liquefying a chocolate bar or using the chocolate cream from cakes) on the skin also makes it smooth and glowing.
Wash your face with normal water 2-3 times a day. Do not wash frequently, as it may drain the natural properties of the skin and make it appear dull and unhealthy.
Wash your face with a mild face wash once a day. Do not scrub your face daily. It will exhaust the essential nutrients present in the skin.
Do not touch your face frequently with unclean hands.
Use a toner or deep cleanser to remove the dirt and pollutants from the pores. This will give the face a clean and healthy appearance.
Eat food rich in vitamin A, E and B as they have properties to cleanse, nourish and protect the skin.
