Success without Stress
The process of attaining success can involve a lot of effort, tension, frustration, anxiety, fear of failure, strain on the mind and body, physical illness due to absence of recreation, overshooting your stamina and physical capacity, shooting the time limit, compromising on enjoyment, strict disciplinary approach etc.
Though hard work and effort are essential for success, you can make the process easier by imbibing some qualities in yourself. Firstly be result oriented. Planning or laying down a routine, setting a timeframe can help you to prioritize your work and day to day activities.
Second step is to become a good strategist. Chalk out a program, schedule that will help you to achieve the desired end. Take help. Of course success requires individual effort and dedication; however, using the experience, guidance and advice of wise persons will only improve your chances of better organization and efficiency.
Be cool. Do not fret and fume over minor lapses. Nothing can be perfect and no one can fully estimate the exigencies and emergencies that arise suddenly. Do not lose hope, your conviction and mental strength when faced with temporary hiccups.
Learn lessons. Reflect on your actions, your strategy, your goal, your approach. Have a flexible attitude. Change your plans when you feel it is imperative. Be realistic.
Be observant. Be alert towards changes. Resisting changes may not help. Rather adjust to or accommodate changes. Learn from your surroundings, people you meet, their experience. Do not block out anything from your life. Try to experience various facets.
Value time. Avoid procrastination. Be punctual and diligent. Consistence of effort and time bound approach will be of greater help than sporadic, impulsive efforts and elongated uncertain plans.
Be abreast of current scenario. Have an open mind, though you can have a critical opinion about various issues.
Think twice before you act. Sometimes following your instincts and gut feeling also reaps benefits.
