Significance of Meditation

Select a place which has a calm environment, dress in loose-fitting clothes through which you can feel restful. Then shut both the eyes, sit in a straight posture keeping your spine upright. Loosen up all the muscles of your body including that of your face. In the beginning, loads of feelings will inundate your mind. Do not prevent them from approaching. Take a deep breath and start doing breathing exercises. Closely examine the breathing pattern. Then begin to pour out the feelings from mind.

As soon as the uproar of disturbing emotions settle down and the brain falls in a tranquil position sub-consciously then a profound cheerfulness as well as satisfaction starts emerging as you would have expected. The sentiment of happiness assists a person in managing the problems of daily routine. By means of daily practice you will sooner or later be able to make your mind empty which will make it possible for you to handle any type of situation.

Some of the advantages of meditation are improvement in the level of confidence, good sleep, reduces pressure on the muscles as well as pain in head, enhances the flow of blood; develops attentiveness, memory and self-control & also cuts down a person’s addiction to a particular medicine and liquor.
