Rewarding Yourself without Food

Most of the time, whenever we are in a good mood or something exciting and great moments happens in our life, we tend to celebrate it either going out for a dinner or lunch in a restaurant or orders favourite dish from outside. Many people also have the habit of eating food when things go wrong at their end. Such kind of over- dependence on food on every small occasion provides us enough reasons to worry about our health. There are many ways apart from food by which happiness can be celebrated & consolation can be sought.

Every time we feel happy and want to show our joy, the best thing is to do that particular activity that we enjoy the most. For instance, listening to favourite music, dancing to some peppy songs or taking a small nap & even cleaning the house can be some of the alternatives that can be easily chosen in place of food. Spend your money in an exercise related plan. You can join a gym, spa or yoga classes for rejuvenating yourself completely. Here, you can reward your body by burning accumulated fat by way of exercises. At the end of the day, you’ll have the benefit of possessing a fit body.

Participate in some social project in which you can volunteer as per your own willpower. Contributing your time & knowledge in such a novel project will bring a feeling of happiness, self-satisfaction, improved healthiness both physically and emotionally. You can even buy a pet for yourself because a pet animal help out unintentionally in alleviating sadness plus nervousness from the body. Keeping pets would be particularly useful for people suffering from the problem of blood pressure. Read your favourite book or watch a good movie on television. You can even play a popular video game.

Plan a get-together with your friends whom you have not met since very long time. Meeting your buddies will not only make your mood better but will also lower the level of stress. Have a massage for yourself. It provides a lot of peaceful sensation. Massage is most beneficial in cases where a lot of physical or metal activity is involved.
