There is no surety about what will happen next in our life. Despite a person being healthy, the whole thing can twirl upside down amid the occurrence of a heart attack whether it is minor or major; wound resulting from a burn, splinter or even a bite from a venomous insect. Nevertheless, the patient must be provided with immediate medical help during the period he or she is taken to the hospital so that appropriate involvement by means of medical help can reduce any sought of risk.

Burn Injury

Injuries resulting from burns are of three categories. These are 1st, 2nd & 3rd degree burns. If you have got a burn injury or have to provide medical help to anyone then as a first step, put the affected portion under running water. This will surely help in lessening the pain. Milder injuries can be treated with burn ointments. Make sure that no oil or even butter is applied on a burn injury. Wrap up such injuries with sterilized dressing to keep them hygienic & desiccated.

Third degree burn is most dangerous and must be treated cautiously. Burns on neck and face often results in swelling which in turn makes breathing difficult as the course of blood is constrained. In such delicate cases, nearest hospital must be contacted without any delay. Even as the injury is healing, try to dress in loose fitting clothes. Call for urgent medical aid if the patient suffers from giddiness, perplexity & shuddering, etc.
