The problem of slip disc can cause immense pain to a person. This problem arises mainly because of unhealthy and careless way of living your life or in other words ‘inconsistent lifestyle’. Earlier, pain in neck or back were confined to the elderly population. However, there has been a huge change in the recent years as an unprecedented increase in cases of back ache has been observed in younger population. Generally, its root is the problem of slip disc which causes neck sprain and back ache.

There are several possible reasons which give rise to the problem of slip disc. Some of them are not doing enough physical work or exercise, inactive way of life, unwanted pressure whether physically or mentally as well as incorrect positioning of body. There are many factors which are responsible for incorrect body posture, such as, fatness, smoking, poor sleep, shortage of essential nutrients in the body.

Preventive Cure for Slip Disc

One of the best precautionary measures that can be taken in such cases is to take ample rest. If the person is already suffering from acute pain, physiotherapy is advised along with related medicines. An affected person can also perform some light exercises. If the problem has reached an advanced stage, then surgery is the last alternative.

From your side you can take several measures. For instance, do exercises on a regular basis or at least go for one hour walk. Make a dedicated effort to deal with stress in your routine life. Split your time equally amid occupation and enjoyment. Eating junk and spicy food is good enough for few days but don’t make it a habit to eat unhealthy food every now and then. You can balance the diet by including more healthy and nutritious food.  Drink lots of water as it maintains equilibrium in the body. Take short break in between if you have been continuously working for longer duration. Maintain correct posture of the body.
