Some of us may feel exhaustion, giddiness may set in, some times black out may be observed, nausea or vomiting may occur, sometimes there could be fainting episodes and unconsciousness if the blood sugar level has dipped very much.
The proportion of salt and sugar in the body needs to be contained so that there is a state of equilibrium and balance as far as energy is concerned. Sugar like glucose, fructose is necessary for the body as it is a source of energy. In the absence of essential sugar, excessive intake of salt, lack of electrolytes and nutrients in the body, low blood pressure may take place.
Adequate and timely intake of food is essential. Never skip meals. Do not go into strict dieting plans or starvation mode. Eat food comprising basic vitamins and minerals. While fasting try to atleast eat fruits or consume milk; or else exhaustion and fatigue may set in. Fainting or unconsciousness may also occur. You may also consume oral rehydration solution, electral solution or products like glucon-D to maintain the sugar, salt and electrolyte level.
