Stress affects all of us periodically. For some people it is chronic in nature. Many people have stress that even they are not aware of. It is often difficult to judge ones level of stress.
Stress varies from person to person. It can also be hereditary or in other words, run in the family.

Have rapid heartbeats, and associated high blood pressure, if put in a stressful situation.
This might result in heavy and forceful breathing. You might even suffer from temporary breath problems. You will also perspire more.

Breathe deeply when stressed. This will get your pulse rate to drop to normal, and also your perspiring to stop.
You have mid-level stress if you…
Feel extreme exhaustion without doing any work or activity. You might be motivationally challenged sometimes, but if it happens always, then either you are lazy or stressed out. People with mid-level stress also have lower immunity levels. This is because at this level of stress, the bodies immunity system gets affected. There are also severe bouts of anxiety, and temporary memory loss. Haven’t you noticed many people temporarily forgetting the way to their house, or even failing to identify familiar places or locations, due to stress and tension? Then this is nothing but mid-level stress.

Indulge in regular exercise. Exercise releases the endorphin hormone, which is a stress alleviator.
Exercise also builds immunity levels. Deep breathing meditation exercises and yoga is beneficial to reduce stress and improve memory.

Have disturbed sleep pattern, or chronic insomnia. If you lack in abilities of discretion and discernment, and if this is not any mental disintegration illness, then it might be due to chronic stress. There is also violence and alcoholism associated with stress. Highly stressed people also smoke a lot. They will have anti-social tendencies, and even suicidal tendencies.

A doctor’s help is advised at this level. If there is a problem with alcoholism, then even a rehab program will work wonders. Kick the butt forever. Smoking only aggravates stress levels. Network more, and become more sociable. The more people you have to help you, the less stressed you will be.
