Drinking tea late in the night can cause disturbed sleep.
The beneficial uses of tea get reduced by adding milk and sugar to it. By mixing milk, the activity of anti-oxidant elements becomes less.

A pregnant lady should not drink five cups of tea in a day. Tea should always be stored in a wooden box as it will help in maintaining the aroma of tea intact.
After eating non-vegetarian food, drinking two to three cups of tea is advantageous because it reduces the effect of cancerous chemicals originating from non-veg food. Make an effort to drink tea without sugar or honey. Mixing lemon in tea is considered beneficial from health viewpoint.
