Home Remedies for Migraine
Migraine is the neurological syndrome in which you have intense, throbbing or pulsating pain in headache. It is often accompanied by nausea, diarrhea, and weakness in arm or leg and altered bodily perception. It is hereditary and is more common in women than in men. It generally affects one side of the head and keeps on changing the side, but sometimes it can affect both the sides and pain can even travel down to eye, face and neck. It symptoms last for 4hrs to 72 hrs. You also develop sensitivity to sound and light. Most of the people know when that soon they are going to have migraine attack as they experience aura, zig zag lines and other sensory experience.

One of the effective remedy for treating migraine is eating 10-12 almonds. Another home remedy is, grind fresh ripe grapes and drink it without adding water to it.
Place crushes cabbage leaves in a cloth and bound it on your forehead whenever necessary. Renew the crush when leaves dry out. It is also very effective remedy.
Use primrose oil. It is an anti-inflammatory agent that keeps the blood vessels from constricting. This is one of the best home remedies for migraine.
Take equal quantities of spinach juice, beet juice and cucumber juice and mix them. Drink this mixed juice. It is also one of the good remedies for migraine. Another remedy is to eat raw garlic or you can take cooked garlic in various forms.
One of the simple of reducing migraine symptoms is to drink chamomile tea. Another simple remedy is to take 4-5 leaves of fresh feverfew in dried form.
Apply a paste of freshly ground sandalwood on your forehead and leave it to dry. After drying, rub it off with hands and wash it afterwards. Another remedy is, apply a fine paste made from lemon crusts on your forehead.
Another treatment for migraine is, to take warm water enema to cleanse bowels. Frequent fresh air walks and regular exercise helps in relieving migraine pain.
