Home Remedies for Leg Pain
Leg pain is very common these days. Because of our work and hectic schedule, we hardly get time to rest. This leads to muscles contraction in knee, foot and calf. Leg pain can occur due to accidental injury or damage of any leg nerve. Causes of Leg pain can be ligament tear or sprain, over exertion, arthritis, long standing hours and weakness.
Home Remedies for Leg Pain
Once a week, massage and steam bath should be taken. This is beneficial for leg pain. Another remedy for leg pain is to have 3-4 walnuts on an empty stomach in the morning. This will ease the pain for a short duration.
Consumption of cod liver oil is very helpful in relieving from all kind of leg pain and also weakness of the body. Another remedy is to wrap red flannel around the area with pain.
Yoga is also very beneficial remedy for leg pain. Asana like uttanpadasana, gomukhasana and janusandhi should be performed.
Mix 10 grams of camphor with 200 grams of mustard oil. Keep this mixture in a glass bottle in the sun, until camphor dissolves. Massage the affected area with this mixture. This is very good remedy for leg pain. You can also massage with arthcare oil as it is useful for leg pain cure and it also helps in strengthening the tissues.
One of the effective leg pain remedy is to have 1-2 tsp of fenugreek powder in the morning water. Another remedy is, take 1/ 2 cup of water and add 1tsp of saffron. Boil this mixture. Now, divide this mixture into 3 equal parts. Take with equal quantities of water, three times a day for a week.
Warm water bath of Epsom salt is very good for relieving pain. You can also lobelia paste. Rub this paste in the affected area. Vinegar is also used for relieving pain. Massage with coconut oil or mustard oil is also useful in relieving pain.
