Majority of the people are of the opinion that by taking heavy diet, there will be no scarcity of vitamins and minerals in their body but in reality instead of eating food in larger quantity, consumption of healthy and balanced food is necessary. Non Vegetarian food is not always harmful for health. In category of fish, a person can take Salmon and tuna. Actually, such types of fishes have greater quantity of Omega-3 fatty acids and less amount of cholesterol which keeps human metabolism in good shape. Not only this, omega 3 acid directly affects metabolic activity. Fish also contain loads of protein which is necessary for the body. If you are including fish in your diet, then it can be taken in grilled or boiled form along with vegetables.
Grapes, lemon, sweet lime, papaya, guava and tomato comes under the category of citrus fruits and are full of Vitamin C. Actually, Vitamin C reduces the extra fat accumulated in our body. Besides this, it also contains carotene amino acid which helps in burning fat in the body. Citrus fruits also contain lot of water which helps in maintaining water level.
Green vegetables are extremely essential for human health. In it, a person can take spinach, broccoli and asparagus. Green vegetables are low in calorie content so they do not allow fat to accumulate in the body. Green vegetables also contain essential antioxidants, vitamins and minerals that satisfy our hunger and provide necessary nutrients.
Popcorn is an excellent source of fibre and contains negligible amount of calories. Popcorn has to be chewed for longer duration that is why stomach remains filled. Oatmeal contains carbohydrates so it takes times to digest and because of which a person receives nutrition for longer duration. Moreover, it also controls your blood sugar as well as insulin. Oatmeal is a perfect breakfast. It can also be taken along with milk or curd.
Almonds and walnuts if not roasted and taken without salt provides you with lot of micronutrients, roughage, protein, fat and minerals. Low fat dairy products such as skimmed milk, low fat cheese and yoghurt contain lot of calcium and calcium doesn’t allow fat to get accumulated in body cells. Beans are a good source of both protein and fibre. It provides you with lot of energy.
