Different Ways of Treating Constipation

The problem of constipation can be easily identified. If the stomach is not fully cleared and you always feel that your stomach is half filled. You are paying frequent visits to toilet but are still doubtfully over the motions, this process cannot be directly termed as constipation but it is one the stomach related ailment where stomach remains unclean.

What are the signs & reasons of Constipation?

Formation of gas, pain or heaviness in the stomach, headache, decreased appetite, feeling of sour taste, pain in legs, fever, increased heart beat, heavy-eyed, accumulation of dirt on the tongue are some of the general signs of constipation.

Temporary dodging of navel on the upper side, too much mental tension, eating fried, oily and spicy food, over drinking of cola drinks or alcohol, inconsistent time of eating food and eating less than what is required forms part of the dietary reasons. Apart from that regular intake of allopathic medicines, avoiding going to toilet even when you feel the need to go due to various reasons, over-indulgence in sexual activities also causes navel to shift upwards because of which body becomes weak and lots of disorders arises, one of which is constipation. Smoking or having tobacco related products or sedative medicines can also become one of the causes of constipation.

There are also several other health related ailments which can cause constipation. For example, clot in intestine or some kind blockage in intestine. Hormone related problem, thyroid or diabetes. In such cases, consult your doctor who might advice to go in for operation in serious cases of constipation. People suffering from Parkinson, paralysis or who have been bed ridden for several days can also experience this problem.  If you want to save yourself from constipation, so avoid taking medicines even for small ailments. Take care of your eating pattern. Consume green and fibrous vegetables and in liquid drink milk, raw fruit juice, etc. Undergo exercises regularly or at least try to go for walking. Take 2 spoon of Isabgol husk either with milk or water before sleeping. People suffering from constipation must avoid eating rice. Meat, egg and fish cause constipation, so take these products in combination with some other vegetables. Eat raw fruit rather than drinking its juice.
